Sailor’s Sea Chest

Sailors of the 1600s would get one chest to bring along. I didn't draw the shoes because they weren't really used on the ship. They were more for running ashore and being cooth.

  • woolen pullover with hood, woolen knee-length trousers, long wool stockings, knitted cap, shoes (though barefoot on deck)

Six changes of cloths to allow for drying.

Also, fiddle, fife, or tin whistle perhaps.
