Dog Park Discovery

Dog Park Discovery

a roll-and-draw, print-and-play, map-making game for 1 person

about.

Woof! A new dog park’s in town? Let’s go!

In Dog Park Discovery, you can play any dog breed you want to explore a new dog park. You’ll have opportunities to play with a Scottie terrier, border collie, basset, whippet, Boston terrier, chihuahua, Russel terrier, American water spaniel, doberman pinscher, English bulldog, boxer, poodle, Irish setter, dalmatian, papillon, bloodhound, corgi, newfoundland, borzoi, and beagle. Woof, that’s a lot of dogs. You’ll receive quests, discover as much of the park as you can, and in the end, go home with your person and a happy heart.

The game includes printable and digital versions of the three booklets:

  • Bowow Basics: rules of how to play the game
  • Doggie Done Did It: the various quests. Don’t peak or you’ll ruin the surprise!
  • Smells with Style: the “game board,” where you will track your stats and draw your map.

I got to draw so many dogs for this. And experiment with digital inking.

prep work.

I let myself get very wrapped up in second-guessing the design on this one. So many drafts. But I got there in the end by just getting sick of it all!
